By March 2022, PS4 sales reached 117.2 million devices. According to analyst Daniel Ahmad, the circulation of this console is unlikely to grow much, since Sony no longer talks about fresh PS4 sales in its reports.
PS4 was second in the number of devices sold only to PS2 (over 155 million), Nintendo DS (154 million), as well as Game Boy and Game Boy Color (together they have 118.7 million).
The analyst also noted that the Nintendo Switch could overtake the PS4 by the end of the year — at the moment it has 111 million copies sold.
