For the third time this year, Crystal Dynamics studio has announced layoffs. This time, they have parted ways with 30 employees.

Tomb Raider Reloaded

The reason this time is restructuring. As Crystal Dynamics explained, they made these business changes to "optimize further production" of the new Tomb Raider installment. Additionally, these changes were deemed necessary to better work on upcoming games.

According to Crystal Dynamics' statement, the layoffs affected employees from various departments. The studio has promised to provide support to all of them.

Previously, Crystal Dynamics conducted layoffs at the end of August, about a month and a half after the cancellation of the Perfect Dark remake, in which they were involved. The studio also reduced its staff in March.

In total, more than 300 people work at Crystal Dynamics.
