The simulator of the border guard Contraband Police, developed by the Polish studio Crazy Rocks, has successfully started. The general director of the PlayWay publishing house Krzysztof Kostowski said that 49 thousand people bought the game in the first two days. This allowed us to recapture all development and marketing costs.
Kostowski also revealed the overall budget of Contraband Police. It amounted to 2 million zlotys or $454.7 thousand.
Contraband Police was released on PC on March 8. The game takes place in 1981 in the fictional communist Akaristan People’s Republic. In the story, users play as a border guard who checks documents from people trying to get into the region.
