The analytics company Circana has prepared a report on the state of the American gaming market in November. Below are the main findings.

- In the last fall month, Americans spent $5.75 billion on video games, gaming hardware, and accessories. This is $1.1 billion more than in October, but compared to last year, their spending dropped by $396 million or 7%.
- The majority of the amount was spent on video games — $4.45 billion. This is a 9% decrease year-over-year. Hardware sales remained unchanged at $927 million, while accessory sales grew by 4% to $373 million.
- The best-selling game in November was Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It also secured the second spot in the sales rankings since the beginning of 2024, second only to EA Sports College Football 25.
- At the same time, EA Sports College Football 25 became the best-selling sports game in US history.
- Call of Duty HQ took the top spot for active players in November (MAU) on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. On Steam, Counter-Strike 2 led in this metric. Analysts specifically noted the strong debut of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl — released on November 20, the game ranked sixth in the Xbox chart and ninth in the Steam chart.
- In November, PlayStation 5 once again showed the best console sales in the US both in unit and dollar terms. Of these, 19% of unit sales and 28% of dollar sales for PlayStation 5 were from PlayStation 5 Pro.
