The Game Awards 2022 ceremony was marked by a lengthy speech by Christopher Judge, who received an award for the role of Kratos in God of War: Ragnarök. According to the organizers, it lasted 7 minutes 59 seconds, as a result of which it surpassed in duration all the speeches of thanks both at the TGA and at other ceremonies.

Before Judge, the record belonged to the actress Greer Garson (Greer Garson), — in 1942, at the Academy Awards, she gave a speech for five and a half minutes.

Judge’s speech could have been even longer, but after several requests from the organizers of the ceremony, he had to wrap up. Later, the actor wrote on Twitter that he did not have time to thank his wife.
