Rumors that CD PROJEKT is working on a third DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have turned out to be true. The Polish company has officially announced the expansion titled Songs of the Past. However, investors have reacted coolly to the announcement.

“Songs of the Past”

By the time of writing, the stock price of CD PROJEKT had fallen to 239 złotys (65.7 dollars) per share. This is 5.16% less than their value in the morning during the market opening.

What exactly displeased the investors is unclear. It's possible that CD PROJEKT shares will recover later. Moreover, tomorrow, May 28, the company will release a quarterly report, the figures of which might change investors’ sentiments.

The expansion is being developed by the studio Fool’s Theory. Little is known about its storyline so far. It is clear, however, that the protagonist will remain Geralt of Rivia, who will embark on a new adventure.

The release of “Songs of the Past” is set for 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
