Capcom Chief Operating Officer Haruhito Tsujimoto gave an interview to Bloomberg. During the conversation, he was asked how the company would react if Microsoft came to them with a takeover offer. Judging by Tsujimoto’s words, Capcom’s management is not interested in such negotiations.

“I would politely decline [Microsoft’s] offer. I think it would be better if we were equal partners,” Tsujimoto said.

Tsujimoto added that Capcom is not going to buy up other companies itself. Instead, she prefers to grow organically.
