The creators of Street Fighter 6 see great potential in the game. In an interview with Famitsu, the president of Capcom said that the company expects to sell at least 10 million copies of the fighting game for all time.
Haruhiro Tsujimoto said that Capcom wants to attract not only hardcore fans of the series to Street Fighter 6, but also more casual gamers. In addition, Street Fighter is one of the main franchises of the company, so Capcom was not afraid to invest a significant amount in the creation of the sixth part.
If Street Fighter 6 manages to sell 10 million copies, it will become one of the best-selling parts of the series. For comparison: the previous part of Street Fighter V was bought over 7 million times.
Street Fighter 6 will be released on June 2 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
