Capcom has published a report for three financial quarters (April-December 2022). Almost all key indicators of the Japanese company have fallen.

In particular, Capcom’s revenue decreased by 9.6% to ¥79.7 billion ($614.6 million), and operating profit — by 5% to ¥33.3 billion ($257.14 million).

Nevertheless, the Japanese were able to increase unit sales of games. In nine months, Capcom has sold 29.1 million digital and physical copies of games. This is 3.3 million copies more than last year. At the end of the entire fiscal year, Capcom expects to sell 40 million copies. If she succeeds, it will be a new record for the company.

Capcom hopes that it will earn a record 125 billion rubles ($964.3 million) for the entire fiscal year. The release of the Resident Evil 4 remake, scheduled for March 24, will help her increase revenue.
