The fact that the Sony-owned Bungie game studio will be affected by a wave of layoffs was reported by Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier.
There is no information yet about how large-scale they will be.
All employees of the company received a letter from Bungie CEO Pete Parsons, which says that a general rally will be held today "with some news."
Prior to this, the layoffs affected Sony's internal game studios such as Naughty Dog, Media Molecule and Visual Arts.
