Brazil’s mobile gaming market is booming. Analytical company data.ai I calculated that last year Brazilians spent $640 million on in-game purchases in them. This is 12.3% more than in 2021.

The top five highest-grossing categories of games included shooters, strategies, RPGs, simulators and team games (party games). Analysts did not specify their revenue, but noted that the revenue of team games for the year rose by 84%. First of all, Stumble Guys, a clone of Fall Guys, should be thanked for such growth.

In total, Brazilians downloaded mobile games 4.62 billion times in 2022, which is 3.5% more in annual terms.
