Former CEO of Activision Blizzard, Bobby Kotick, might have returned to the gaming industry. He has taken a position on the leadership team of Skydance — a corporation formed by the merger of Warner Bros. and Paramount.

This was announced by Skydance in a report to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The company did not specify Kotick's role on the board, but it is likely that he will be involved with gaming in some capacity. Kotick has not publicly commented on the appointment, so his exact responsibilities remain a mystery.

Meanwhile, Skydance shared details about the merger of the gaming divisions of Warner Bros. and Paramount. They will now operate together under the leadership of Tony Driscoll, head of Paramount Games Studio.

To recall, Paramount Games Studio currently includes teams like Skydance Interactive and Skydance New Media. Warner Bros. has a more extensive gaming division with nine studios, including Avalanche Software, NetherRealm Studios, and Rocksteady Studios.
