In an interview with GameSpot, the Bloober Team shared that the Silent Hill 2 remake allowed them to "find their niche" in the horror genre and enabled further growth. They intend to prove they can create their own high-quality games with original ideas.

Cronos: The New Dawn

The studio acknowledges that working on Silent Hill 2 was done under intense public pressure—nobody believed a developer without a survival horror title in their portfolio could succeed. "The journey was tough, but we made it. We made the impossible possible despite all the online hate. It's an amazing moment for the company," noted studio co-director Wojciech Piejko.

Bloober Team also doesn't rule out the possibility of remaking other parts of Silent Hill or creating brand new games in the franchise. "We are always open to proposals," commented Piejko to IGN.

According to him, at this stage, Bloober Team does not intend to limit itself to remakes. The team, inspired by the successful release of the revamped Silent Hill 2, is confident they can replicate this success in the upcoming ambitious project—Cronos: The New Dawn.
