Bethesda's French office ceased to exist after 12 years of operation. The company has not officially announced the closure of Bethesda France, but former employees of the division are already writing about it on social networks.

According to one of the community managers, the division was closed as part of mass layoffs at Microsoft, a subsidiary of which is Bethesda. Recall that at the end of January, Microsoft announced plans to lay off 1,900 people from gaming teams.

Sources of the French portal ActuGaming confirm information about the termination of Bethesda France. It is reported that the unit was closed suddenly and "American-style", but the details are unknown.

Bethesda France was opened in 2012 and was engaged in marketing, working with the French community and hosting events. According to reports from former employees, the unit employed about 15 people.
