Currently, Delta Force has a "mixed" rating on Steam—out of more than 3,000 player reviews, only 54% are positive. According to Steam Scout, half of the reviews are written in English, followed by Chinese (21%), Spanish (5%), and Portuguese (3.4%).

Players primarily criticize Delta Force for its use of anti-cheat software that operates at the kernel level of the operating system and for intrusive microtransactions. Surprisingly, users from Australia have heavily criticized the project, complaining about the inability to create an account from their country. Russian players also note that the Steam version of Delta Force is unavailable in Russia, but the shooter can be launched via its official website.

Meanwhile, many praise Delta Force for its good optimization and dynamic, engaging gameplay. The game is actively compared to Battlefield 2042, with some even noting that the newcomer surpasses DICE's creation in various aspects.

At the time of writing, the peak concurrent players for the Steam version of Delta Force stands at 71,556. This number is expected to grow by the end of the day.
