The release of the low-poly shooter BattleBit Remastered was a success for its creators. In a conversation with game marketing expert Chris Zukowski, they said that sales for the first two weeks amounted to 1.8 million copies.

BattleBit Remastered showed a good conversion of vishlist sales: before the launch, the title was on the wishlist on Steam more than 800 thousand times.

Despite everything, the creators of the shooter do not recommend young teams to take up the development of multiplayer titles because of their complexity. “If you are planning to make a multiplayer game, change your mind! Really, don’t. If this is your first project, it’s better to make a single game. [Developing multiplayer games] is very difficult. If you go for it, be prepared that you will be hit with a hammer,” said SgtOkiDoki, one of the three developers of BattleBit Remastered.
