The role-playing novelty from Larian Studios topped the Steam top of the highest-grossing games over the past week (more precisely, for the period from the first to the eighth of August). This time — taking into account the fritupley titles.

Baldur’s Gate 3‘s revenue turned out to be more than that of the shareware Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which was at the top of the chart for 19 consecutive weeks.

Taking into account pre-orders, the role-playing blockbuster is in the top ten of the Steam platform for the fifth week in a row. The official release of the game took place last Thursday, August 3.

Despite the premium distribution model and the niche nature of the genre (Baldur’s Gate 3 refers to a CRPG with a turn-based combat system), the project managed to enter the top ten games with the largest online in the history of Steam. At the weekend, the number of simultaneous users of the game reached 814 thousand people.
