The total sales of the card game Balatro across all platforms have reached 5 million copies. This announcement was made by Harvey Elliott, the CEO of the publisher Playstack, during a speech at the Pocket Gamer Connects London conference.

The last time Balatro's sales were reported was in mid-December, when they amounted to 3.5 million copies. Thus, an additional 1.5 million copies were sold over the course of a month.
Elliott did not provide a platform breakdown, so it remains unknown how sales were divided among the PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile versions. It is worth noting that Balatro is also available on Apple Arcade, which should further expand its audience.
According to data from the analytics service AppMagic, the mobile version of Balatro has so far generated $9.2 million in net revenue. Just under half of this amount came from the United States—$4.5 million. The United Kingdom ($638.2 thousand) and Canada ($571.4 thousand) follow as major markets for the game.
