Apptopia analysts noticed that mobile developers began to create Web3 applications more actively than ever before. According to their data, in 2022 such projects come out almost five times more often than a year earlier.
Since the beginning of the year, the number of Web3 applications available for download has increased by 88%.
At the same time, downloads of applications related to cryptocurrency and NFT have decreased. In particular, OpenSea and Veve have recently dropped by more than 90% from their peak. Downloads of the top 50 crypto applications have fallen by 64% since November.
Separately, analysts noted that of all Web3 applications, only 5.7% are games.
