Just yesterday, Pete Hines, the head of the company's publishing division, announced his departure from Bethesda. Shortly after, it became known that Bethesda also left the design director William Shen (William Shen).

Shen started his career at Bethesda almost 15 years ago and spent most of his time working on quest design. He had a hand in games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Starfield.

Shen announced that he had already got a job at another gaming company. He took the position of lead content designer at Something Wicked Games studio. It was opened in 2022 by Jeff Gardiner, the former head of Fallout 76 development, along with several other Bethesda veterans, as well as former employees of Obsidian Entertainment.
