The analytical service VG Insights shared its sales statistics for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl on social network X. They thoroughly examined the situation on Steam.

According to the analysts' estimates, by its release on November 20th, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl had amassed 2.5 million wishlists on Steam, 400,000 of which were added in the last month. Amid high interest, the game was able to sell 1.4 million copies on Valve's platform alone by November 24th.
The most active purchasers of the Steam version of the shooter are in the United States. U.S. residents are responsible for 22% of the 1.4 million copies sold. Ukraine also made it to the top of the sales markets with 16%, followed by Germany (7%) and China (7%).
The gross revenue of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl on Steam in the first five days was estimated by analysts to be $66.7 million.
It's reported that Steam users have played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl for an average of 7.6 hours. Analysts believe that owners of the game are highly likely to also spend time on The Forever Winter, Witchfire, and Incursion Red River.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, the developers themselves from GSC Game World reported selling over one million copies of the game by November 22nd. This figure included sales on all platforms, including Xbox Series consoles.
