On July 25, NetEase will release the mobile version of the battle royale game Naraka: Bladepoint in China. Analysts at Goldman Sachs predict great success for the game.

Naraka: Bladepoint Mobile

According to Lincoln Kong from Goldman Sachs, the Chinese version of Naraka: Bladepoint Mobile could generate revenue of 6.4 billion yuan ($880 million) in its first 12 months. This is approximately 6-7% of NetEase’s projected annual revenue.

NetEase also expects a strong launch for the game. It is reported that Naraka: Bladepoint Mobile currently has over 40 million pre-registrations.

As Bloomberg noted, on the eve of the Chinese release of Naraka: Bladepoint Mobile, NetEase’s shares rose by 6.3%. This is the company's biggest one-day increase in a month.
