The analytics service VG Insights shared data on Black Myth: Wukong. It estimated that to date, 8.4 million people have purchased the Steam version of the game, 80% of whom are residents of China.

The service also indicated that Black Myth: Wukong currently has 4.8 million wishlists on Steam. This does not include wishlists that have already been converted into sold copies.
According to VG Insights, the gross revenue of the Steam version of Black Myth: Wukong amounted to $405.2 million.
The average playtime for Black Myth: Wukong on Steam is 9.7 hours.
As a reminder, Black Myth: Wukong was released on August 20 on PC and PlayStation 5. At its peak, the Steam version was played simultaneously by 2.4 million people, making Black Myth: Wukong the second most popular game in the platform's history, right after PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, which had an online peak of over 3.2 million players.
