The founder of the analytics company Aldora and the now-closed SuperData, Joost van Dreunen, calculated the initial revenue of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. According to his estimates, less than a week after its release, the new Saber Interactive game generated $202 million.

For comparison: in 2023, all other games in the Warhammer 40,000 series collectively earned $108 million — $67 million on consoles and PC, and $41 million on mobile devices.
Van Dreunen did not provide a breakdown of the 2023 revenue by specific games. He only noted that the highest-grossing title last year was the mobile Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus by Snowprint Studios, which generated $35 million.
