Sony has announced an increase in prices for the PS5 in most regions. The company did not delve into the reasons and explained everything by the “global economic situation”.

For example, in Europe, consoles will rise in price by € 50, in the UK — by £ 30, and in Japan — by ¥ 5 thousand.

Analyst Piers Harding-Rolls from Ampere Analysis believes that Sony had to revise prices due to the rise in price of components for consoles and supply problems. He is confident that the price increase will have a minimal impact on PS5 sales, as demand for consoles remains high.
