Naughty Dog has been criticized more than once for reworking, but it seems that the creation of the remake of The Last of Us did without them. At least, this was stated by Anthony Vaccaro, the chief environment artist.
Vacarro wrote on Twitter that he did not have to crunch for the first time in his entire 13-year career in different studios. At the same time, the game managed to achieve the same level of quality as in The Last of Us Part II.
Recall that last summer the management of Naughty Dog promised to change work processes for the better, but did not specify exactly how. According to one of the studio’s presidents, they have already tried to ban employees from working more than 40 hours a week, but this did not suit many.
