Belka Games will soon undergo a leadership change. Its CEO, Alexander Bogdanov, announced plans to step down in January 2025.

However, Bogdanov does not plan to leave the company entirely. He will remain on the board of Belka Games.

Following Bogdanov's departure, the position of CEO will be taken over by another veteran of Belka Games, Ivan Gorchakov, who currently heads the research and development department.

On social media, Bogdanov shared that he intends to pursue something new, but was short on details. “As for my plans, many good people wish me even higher peaks and success. Many have long been poking me with a stick — 'Go on, do your thing already.' And so! A new chapter is beginning in my life, a chapter with such a big capital letter. But announcements will come a little later,” wrote the top executive.

Bogdanov became the CEO of Belka Games at the end of 2017. At that time, the company decided to revise its strategy, and Bogdanov undertook the implementation of a plan called Belka 2.0. According to the top executive himself, during his leadership, Belka Games' revenue peaked at an increase of more than tenfold, and EBITDA significantly grew as well.

Before joining Belka Games, Bogdanov held leadership positions at Social Quantum, Playrix, Game Insight, IT Territory, and FairPlay Studios (which at that time was called Bad Rabbit Games).
