On December 18, 2024, the Chinese company miHoYo released a major patch 1.4 for Zenless Zone Zero. Data from the AppMagic service indicates that the mobile version of the game set a new personal record for net daily IAP revenue as a result.

According to AppMagic, on December 18, Zenless Zone Zero earned over $6.06 million from IAP on mobile devices. By comparison, on December 17, when the game's revenue started to increase in anticipation of the patch release, its daily revenue was $1.3 million. The day before, it was $275.9 thousand.

The previous record for Zenless Zone Zero was $5.7 million—net IAP revenue recorded on July 5, 2024.

Now, a few days later, the daily mobile revenue of the miHoYo title has decreased, but it remains above the usual values for Zenless Zone Zero. On Sunday, December 22, the game's income amounted to $2.48 million.

As for downloads, they also increased after the patch release, but not as significantly. On December 16, the daily downloads of the mobile version of Zenless Zone Zero were 23.6 thousand, while on December 18, they rose to 61.3 thousand.

According to AppMagic estimates, since its release, the mobile Zenless Zone Zero has earned $172.7 million and accumulated 17.5 million downloads. Recall, the game was released on July 4, 2024, for mobile devices, PC, and PlayStation 5.

Patch 1.4 added a lot of new content to Zenless Zone Zero, including new characters and locations. Additionally, the developers introduced new modes, altered some game mechanics, improved and optimized graphical effects, and fixed several issues.
