Adobe has added Photoshop integration with Firefly, a family of neural networks that can generate art. Now the editor can “finish” the background according to the text description, as well as change, add and delete objects in images.
The AI function in Photoshop is called Generative Fill. While only the beta version is available, a full release is planned for the second half of the year.
Recall that Adobe introduced Firefly at the end of March. Then the company announced that it was going to integrate neural networks into Photoshop, Illustrator, Express and E xperience Manager, but when exactly it would do this, it was not reported. According to Adobe, the launch of the Firefly beta test has become one of the most successful in the company’s history — to date, Firefly users have generated more than 100 million images.
