SOC Investment Group, which owns less than 1% of Activision Blizzard shares, again opposed the publisher’s management. She appealed to the other shareholders to vote against the re-election of half of the company’s board of directors, including CEO Bobby Kotick.
The vote is due to take place on June 21.
In a public letter, SOC Investment Group stated that none of the directors it mentioned could admit that Activision Blizzard had problems with discrimination and harassment. Because of their inaction, the company’s reputation suffered and shares collapsed.
A group of investors believes that one replacement of directors will be “far from enough” to regain the trust of shareholders. But she did not offer any other measures.
