Some former and current Activision Blizzard employees felt that the publisher was not doing enough to combat discrimination. Therefore, they decided to create a special committee themselves and monitor the company’s actions.
In total, the committee included 12 people.
The committee members have prepared a four-page list with requirements for the management of Activision Blizzard. For example, they want the company to abolish compulsory arbitration in situations involving discrimination. Other requirements include more pronounced support for transgender employees, the appearance of private rooms for feeding babies and the ability to take 12 weeks of parental leave.
Activision Blizzard said in a comment for The Washington Post that it appreciates the decision of the employees.
