Square Enix and Luminous Productions could spend over $100 million on the development of Forspoken. This figure was revealed in her LinkedIn profile by the screenwriter of the game Allison Rymer (Allison Rymer).
The companies themselves have not officially announced the budget Forspoken.
Earlier, Square Enix called the initial sales of Forspoken “low” and reported that the role-playing action did not meet expectations. Shortly after the disastrous launch, Square Enix decided to dissolve the studio Luminous Productions.
