In the first three days, the game was bought 2.4 million times worldwide, thanks to which it became at that time the fastest-selling game developed by the internal PlayStation studio (now this title belongs to God of War: Ragnarok). By July 2022, global sales of Ghost Of Tsushima reached 9.73 million copies.
