Blizzard has new problems. Nathan Harris sued the company on behalf of his child, claiming that it misleads underage Hearthstone users.
According to the lawsuit, Blizzard is acting in bad faith, allowing young gamers to spend real money on card sets. At the same time, she does not specify that such purchases are non-refundable, and does not explain how small the chance is that there will be valuable cards in the set.
According to Harris, in two years his daughter spent more than $300 on Hearthstone kits, taking bank cards without asking. Harris asked the lawyers to make the lawsuit a collective one and indicated that “hundreds, if not thousands” of people could join him in the near future.
Blizzard estimated possible losses due to the lawsuit at $ 5 million.
