It was launched by the Creative Association of Uzbekistan (UzCA).

According to the association, its fund has become the first in the country specifically aimed at game studios. It intends to support teams that are officially based in Uzbekistan. Both developers with only a game concept and authors of already released projects can seek funding.

The investment amount depends on the stage of game development:

  • $1,000-2,000 — if there is only a game idea;
  • $2,000-5,000 — if a prototype is ready;
  • $5,000-20,000 — if the game is in full production;
  • $50,000-100,000 — if the game is already released and generating stable income.

The conditions for providing investments at different stages of game creation also vary. UzCA stated that authors of concepts and prototypes must share future revenue, while authors of more mature projects are required to allocate a share in their studios.

Separately, UzCA has launched a program for marketing and publishing support for game developers. Through this program, the association will not allocate funds but will assist studios in user acquisition, app store promotion, finding publishers, and much more.

It is known that the fund has already allocated funds for the development of the mobile puzzle game Butterfly Match by ITIC Game studio, although the investment sum has not been disclosed.
