The wave of layoffs continues in the gaming industry. This time, they are taking place at Iron Galaxy Studios. The American studio has announced that it is forced to lay off dozens of employees.

In an official statement, Iron Galaxy Studios explained that due to the crisis in the industry, the past few years have been challenging for them. The studio made every effort to prevent layoffs and sacrificed a lot to maintain their staff, but now they have "run out of room to maneuver."

A total of 66 developers and support specialists have left Iron Galaxy Studios. The studio has promised to assist the laid-off employees in finding new jobs.

According to Iron Galaxy Studios' LinkedIn account, prior to the layoffs, the studio had about 300 employees. If this information is accurate, almost a quarter of the staff has been affected by the cuts.

Iron Galaxy Studios is primarily known as an outsourcing studio. It has collaborated with numerous major gaming companies such as Bethesda Softworks, Blizzard Entertainment, Riot Games, Naughty Dog, and Capcom, assisting them in game creation or porting. In particular, the studio was involved in the PC ports of both parts of The Last of Us and the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Iron Galaxy Studios has also developed its own games, such as the battle royale Rumbleverse.
