Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has reached another milestone. Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive announced that the number of players in the action game has exceeded 5 million.

Reaching this milestone took just under three months: the official release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 took place on September 9, and four days prior, owners of the extended editions gained access to the game.
Previous milestones for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2:
- 2 million players — September 10;
- 4.5 million players — October 16.
Compared to the release days, the online player count for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 on Steam has significantly declined; however, the game still attracts thousands of concurrent players daily. At its peak, the count reached 225,690 people.
Currently, Saber Interactive is finalizing work on the 5.0 update, which will be released in the first half of December. The update will add another operation, new Dark Angels-themed gear, and support for DLSS and FSR 3 frame generation.
