On the evening of February 3rd, Epic Games released its traditional annual statistics for its digital game store. We have selected the key figures.

  • The user base of the Epic Games Store (hereafter referred to as EGS) on PC reached 317 million people. This is 22 million more than in 2024.
  • In total, at the end of last year, there were 972 million cross-platform accounts registered in EGS (+74 million), including accounts on EGS on PC and mobile devices, as well as those created on partner platforms.
  • However, the average monthly active audience of EGS decreased by 1% to 67 million people. The average daily active audience of the store also slightly decreased by 2% to 31 million people.
  • Last year, PC gamers spent over $1.16 billion in EGS (+6%). Their spending on games from third-party developers increased by 57% to a record $400 million.
  • In total, in 2025, EGS users spent 6.65 billion hours in games, which is 14% less compared to 2024. Speaking only of games from third-party developers, gamers played 2.78 billion hours (+4%).
  • Throughout 2025, Epic Games gave away 100 games for free, which were claimed 662 million times.
  • 77% of games reached a new peak online when they were given away in EGS.
