The funds came from the Singapore branch of the Frontier Accelerator Foundation. The management of Koukoi Games hopes that the investment will mark the beginning of the company’s cooperation and help the Finnish studio to enter the Asian market in the future.

The money will be used for further development of the team’s first project. The game is called Crashing Season. This is a 3D runner, and in it the user will be offered to control animals that are trying not to get shot by a hunter. The release of the game should take place this year.

Recall that Koukoi Games was launched in the summer of 2015. The studio’s website reports that the team is small and consists of industry veterans who previously worked at Rovio and Nokia. However, no specific names are given.
