Lince Works Studio raised $3.4 million. Among its investors are the authorities of autonomous Catalonia. Previously, the developer released a successful indie game Aragami, which sold 500 thousand copies.

This is a venture fund created in September by veterans of the gaming industry. He invests in PC and console projects.
It is such a project for a number of platforms that the entire Lince Works staff of 17 people is currently developing. Game Seer funds will be used for its creation and distribution in the first place, writes VentureBeat.
The game has not been officially announced yet. It is only known that the authors want to make an AA- or even AAA-level project. The studio will announce more details about the game this summer.

Let’s add that Lince Works is located in Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia. According to the studio’s management, the city is gradually becoming a major game development center (branches of Riot Games, King, etc. have opened there). The Catalan authorities probably want to develop the gaming potential of Barcelona and therefore invested an unnamed amount in Lince Works.
