Mobile Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp revenues increased by 111% over the month. Installations — by 770%. The rise in indicators occurred after the release of the Switch-hit Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
According to Sensor Tower:
- From March 20 to April 20, Pocket Camp earned $8 million. As a result, its total revenue since the release amounted to $ 149 million;
- during the same period, the game was downloaded 8.7 million times. At the same time, from the end of February to March 19, its installations amounted to 1 million. The total installations of Pocket Camp reached 42.3 million.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was released in October 2017. Two years later, Nintendo introduced a subscription to it. By February 2020, the game became the second most profitable project of the company on mobile, second only to Fire Emblem Heroes.
As for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, then its sales turned out to be record. In the release month, it sold 5 million digital copies. This is more than any other game in the history of consoles.
