Kaspersky Lab wants to invest in gaming technologies. The antivirus corporation announced this on its official website. She is not interested in direct game development. However, it will at least invest in services designed to protect developers and players.
The company offers assistance to teams (less often — individuals) who develop;
- tools to protect players and their progress, digital content and intellectual rights;
- anti – cheats;
- matchmaking systems;
- chats (text and voice);
- voice assistants;
- VR/AR control functions;
- tools for setting up the game environment (at the level of the devices themselves and software for them);
- secure content sharing, streaming, mobile broadcast technologies;
- neural networks for analyzing in-game matches;
- any projects that will make the industry safer.
For its part, Kaspersky promises financial support, access to distributors, retailers and other partners, assistance in business development, as well as its own technical specialists. Exactly what amounts he is willing to invest in startups is not specified.
