KamaGames presented financial results for the 1st quarter of 2020. It became the most successful quarter in the history of the publisher. The company’s revenue grew by more than a third in annual terms.
In a press release, the publisher lists the following figures:
- In January — March, gross revenue reached a record $29.25 million. This is 37% more than in the same period of 2019;
- the number of unique paying users has also grown record-breaking. The exact figure is not given, but the increase in the indicator in each month of the quarter reached 20-30% in annual terms;
- the coronavirus pandemic had virtually no effect on quarterly revenue. By the end of March, KamaGames had only marginally increased income in countries where quarantine was introduced;
- but in the same countries, the number of new users increased by 30%.
The growth of indicators is explained by a number of innovative mechanics that KamaGames has implemented over the past year. It should be noted that the company’s record quarter followed a record year. In 2019, she earned $90.4 million. In general, KamaGames’ revenue has been growing continuously since 2016 (and faster than the market average).
