Last Friday, indie publisher No More Robots turned four years old. In honor of this, founder Mike Rose spoke about the company’s successes over the past 12 months. The publisher’s revenue was $ 12 million, although during this period he did not release a single new game. Not Tonight 2

Over the past 12 months, the total sales of No More Robots games have exceeded 800 thousand copies.

Over 4 million people have played the company’s titles during this period.

It was possible to achieve such indicators thanks to the transfer of existing projects to new platforms and the conclusion of profitable deals (for example, adding titles to subscription services). According to Rose, No More Robots is also able to pointwise reduce the prices of released games, thereby increasing their sales.

Revenue by platform is distributed as follows: PlayStation — 26.3%, Xbox — 22.1%, Steam — 21.7%, Nintendo — 20.1%. Retail accounted for another 9.8%.

Recall that earlier the head of No More Robots pointed out the problem with visibility and findability on the Sony platform just by the example of this title.

For the next 12 months, No More Robots has a line of new games ready to help stimulate the publisher’s revenue growth. Among them are Let’s Build a Zoo, Not Tonight 2, Heist Simulator, Fashion Police Squad, TombStar and a number of other unannounced titles.
