The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, and Regional Development of the State of South Australia is responsible for providing such benefits.
Previously, the costs of visual effects, audio recording and equipment rental for these purposes were reduced only for film studios. Now the list of preferential companies will be replenished with game studios.
This is the first Australian state that has decided to support the local gaming industry in this way. It is supposed to make it more competitive. In addition, it will increase the attractiveness of the state for market players who want to establish their own studio.
