Board games based on video games continue to attract a lot of attention from the audience. Next up is the adaptation of the Frostpunk urban planning simulator. In three weeks on Kickstarter, the authors of “nastolka” collected € 2.5 million. Despite the fact that the initial goal of the campaign was only € 200 thousand.

The production was handled by studio 11 Bit Studios, and promised to publish it — Glass Cannon Unplugged. The design of the project itself was invented by the creator of the Nemesis horror Adam Kwapiński, the plot was written by one of the developers of the “board game” for This War of Mine Jakub Wiśniewski.
Gameplay Frostpunk: The Board Game will resemble its video game counterpart. It will also be a combination of an urban planning simulator and a survivalist. The game will go on sale in September 2021.
