The Finnish Boomlagoon team, which includes the authors of the original Angry Birds, is preparing to release another game – a mobile RPG with elements of a collectible card game. The project is called Spirit Hunter.

The game will offer the user to collect cards and get resources to protect themselves from demons. Maps can be improved. They will become the main weapon of the player.
The project will be launched this fall.
It is noteworthy that although Boomlagoon already has two games in its portfolio, none of them has become a box office success. The first project was called Noble Nutlings and was so unsuccessful that the team had to remove it from the stores. The second was the Monsu runner with elements of a card game. It was included in the selection of “The Best of 2014” (however, only in the Japanese App Store), but despite this, it did not show good results. This is how the rating of the game looks at the moment in the key markets of the West and in the homeland of the project – in Finland. Monsu is not even in the top thousand either by downloads or by cash register.

The company’s investors are the venture fund London Venture Partners and the business angel Jari Ovaskainen. We assume that due to cash injections from investors, the company manages to make ends meet.
