According to the analytical service AppMagic, user spending in the game on mobile platforms has exceeded the $3 billion mark since its release.The total revenue of Genshin Impact in the App Store and Google Play since August 2020 amounted to $1.8 billion (after deducting the share of stores and taxes).

Most of the revenue came from China (30%) and Japan (23%). This is due to the high popularity of mobile RPGs in Asia.
