In order to interest the user, the game (and its screenshots) have only a few seconds. Despite the fact that the screenshots should demonstrate the gameplay and its components, this does not mean that they should display the game interface, which in other cases is overflowing with details that cannot be seen in screenshots from a mobile device. Therefore, it is better to remove the entire UI when making screenshots.

At the same time, it is important that they are not “naked” after all, but contain brief text explanations highlighting certain advantages of the game (plus, either use your own unique fonts, or those that are well readable and at the same time suit your game, so don’t even think about Comic Sans).

It is better to make the screenshots vertical.

This is more difficult, especially when it comes to a horizontally oriented screen, but it is definitely more convenient for users.
Even if the game is not very diverse, most of the screenshots (or better yet, all of them) should demonstrate gameplay, real game screens so that the user can form an opinion about the game. At the same time, the pictures should be in high resolution and large size: users are likely to watch them not only from a mobile, but also from a PC, laptop or tablet.
