Wooga has announced an update to its Diamond Dash puzzle, offering iPhone and iPad users the Global Tournament mode. At the same time, the German studio shared statistics on the game.
All players can participate in the Global Tournament, and they will be automatically classified according to their skills. Following the results of the competition, the winners will move to other leagues, including Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. According to Wooga representatives, only the best of the best will be able to get to the final Diamond League, where the fiercest fight will unfold.
Celebrating the update, Wooga has published interesting statistics on the game.
So, the number of downloads of the game since December 2011 amounted to 33 million. More than 2.6 billion rounds have been played in China alone.
It’s funny, the highest average number of points scored in the country was recorded in the Vatican – 384,827. The maximum level that users reach on average is obtained in the same region and is equal to 55.
According to Wooga, players from Puerto Rico are most likely to launch the game via Facebook, 83% of users do so. The United States scored the most players (22% of the total number of players).
